WELCOME TO SCV GREEN

SCV Green is a land trust that was formed in 2009 to main­tain the con­nec­tiv­ity around Santa Clarita and the sur­round­ing areas. We are based in the Santa Clarita Val­ley. Our pri­mary goal is to pro­tect the wild lands in the upper Santa Clara River water­shed through land conservation.

We work to pro­tect endan­gered species, the ani­mal cor­ri­dors, and wildlife habi­tat with con­ser­va­tion ease­ments and by pur­chas­ing land to keep habi­tat link­ages and ani­mal cor­ri­dors con­nected. We work together with pub­lic agen­cies and other non-​profits to ensure that we don’t dupli­cate other’s efforts. Part of our work pro­tect­ing wildlife cor­ri­dors involves pub­lic out­reach and edu­ca­tion about the ani­mals and plants that live and move about in our local wild places.
